Order Processing/Accounting Assistant

Our Company is growing and our dedicated team of professionals is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented, slightly crazy multi-tasker to join our team as an Order Processing/Accounting Assistant. Our ideal candidate will have a strong administrative and customer service background as well as experience in shipping/receiving and inventory control. This person must be able to work both independently and as part of our team and enjoy a fast-paced, dynamic environment. An accounting background would be advantageous.

Duties will include order processing, customer liaisons, freight and brokering documentation, shipping and receiving, some inventory control and purchasing, and some accounting duties.

 

The candidate must possess the following skills or attributes:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, prioritization and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Sage and Maximizer
  • The ability to handle various different tasks throughout the day
  • A critical thinker with common sense and an ability to prioritize
  • A smiling face, warm phone manner and sense of humor
  • Prior accounting and/or office administration experience would be an asset.

Vinyl Decking Installer

We are looking for hard working, physically fit, reliable installation staff. The majority of our work is seasonal. This position would be considered full time, seasonal suited to people who enjoy working with their hands and working outside. This is not a sub-contracting position. We only work with employees. Starting wage is negotiable based on experience. Once you are fully trained you will be converted to a piece work employee compensation program. (Yes you can make 50K a year working in the Okanagan with the winters off) A valid drivers license and your own truck is required for this job.
