Winter Fun 2013 -
If you hate winter, you probably envy those snowbird folks who escape to warmer climates every year. Here in Canada, winter begins on December 21st and stays until March 19th – sometimes even longer. For the winter hater, that’s three whole months of hibernation, playing video games, and drinking hot chocolate. While that doesn’t sound too bad, there’s one key Canadian element missing – the great outdoors… and because winter isn’t going anywhere, the enlightened among us have learned to love it. Get outside and partake in some activities, any activity is better than sitting on your couch.

Movember -
In November the Sundeck Centre joined the “Movember” movement with their stand up team of Geoff, Justin, Mike and Chris. Their mission was simply to help raise awareness of men's health issues, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health. With a small team we made a large stand for men's health, and for all their hard work the Sundeck Centre has donated $400 to Prostate Cancer Canada. Way to go guys!!!

Getting into the spirit of Fall. -
Sadly, the Summer season is waving goodbye, the days are shortening, the bustling ice cream shop is growing quiet, and the weekly farmers’ market is coming to an end. This year, instead of feeling wistful that the summer season is almost over, we have been thinking of some fall-style activities to help us get into the spirit of the next season. During the next couple of weeks we will post some fun fall activities that will have you falling in love with the autumn season.
